You don’t have to climb Mt. Everest to be brave.
I started #mystepintobravery on social media to share my experience with bravery and encourage others to do the same. Together we can create a community of people that support and encourage each other in their journeys.
It’s hard for us to acknowledge bravery. We chalk up being brave to taking a huge risk. “They climbed to the top of that mountain, they are so brave or they quit their job, sold everything and are traveling the world, I am not that brave!” Sound familiar? I am sure you have said something to this degree at some point in your life. And, although doing those things do require courage, you don’t have to climb Mt. Everest to be brave.
The truth is, each and every one of you are brave. Let your bravery be your bravery. Let it be unique and different. Let yourself acknowledge it, it works on any scale. Share your brave. It’s not meant to be hidden.
So, what’s your brave?
